What do I do, I really need advice.?

I am head over heels in love with this guy, but I'm not sure if I should tell him. We're only friends right now. He is the nicest, most caring guy I know and he's so fun to be around. I was abused by my last boyfriend, and this guy was the first guy I trusted after that relationship and he remains the only guy I trust. But I don't know if he sees me as anything more than a friend. Plus, he's four years older than me, which wouldn't be much of a problem except that he is over the age of consent and I'm still under it. Complicating things further, he works with my mom, and she doesn't want me to have a relationship with this guy until I'm older. She has no objection to the guy, only our age difference.What do I do? Do I tell him or not? Thanks in advance.
